  • Compostable or industrial compostable is when compostable products need to be composted in a facility as it needs the conditions within that facility to help in breaking it downs vs. home compostable items can be done… at home - throw it inside your very own compost bin or your backyard together with other organic waste so it can start breaking down. Biodegradable is simply products capable of breaking down - all compostable items are biodegradable but not all biodegradable products are (home) compostable!

  • Since our bags our home compostable, you can most definitely compost it at your home. Composting helps in managing your everyday waste and diverting waste out of the landfills. But if you don’t want to, you don’t have to. Simply throw and forget! That’s the beauty of home compostable bags, they’ll start breaking down in 90 days. Want to learn how to compost?   • Yes, they are! Just make sure to wipe it down in between use. Also, due to the compostability and biodegradability of the product it does break down over time, so make sure when it gets wet and you plan to reuse it again, wipe it down right away. And of course, for our meal-prep friends, no cross contamination of meats and raw items please. We want you safe and healthy! Nata bags are meant to mimic your traditional zip bags so if you need to throw it away, throw it out - it decomposes in a few months, not centuries.

  • The Nata bag are not your traditional or conventional plastic zip bags. They are what we call bio-plastics - the perfect blend of PBAT and PLA that is derived from plants.   • Because of its compostable and biodegradable nature, the zip bags have a shelf-life of 9 months. Make sure to store in a dry, cool or room temperature place. Presence of moisture will activate its biodegradability.

  • Yes, absolutely it does! The label is made out of recycled seed paper label. The Wildflower Seed mix is a blend of Catchfly, Sweet Alyssum, Snapdragon, Bird’s Eye, Black Eyed Susan, and Clarkia, giving you the most vibrant, variety of blooms all year-round.
